Griffith University excursion

On Friday, 22 November the year 6 students had the opportunity to attend an open day at Griffith University, Logan campus. This day was full of fun filled activities and students were introduced to what university might offer them.

Students participated in science activities presented by a real life scientist, nursed $10,000 training baby dolls from the School of Nursing, played touch with the university rugby league “Redbacks” and sang and performed a “freeze frame” arts montage.

Everyone enjoyed their visit and gained a greater understanding that anyone can go to university if they work hard and aim high. Thanks to Griffith University, Logan campus for their hospitality.
