Welcome to the Serviceton South State School community.
In 2020, we have around 430 students and 52 staff working together to build a positive school environment that has high expectations and quality education for all. We are a proud multi-cultural school, and celebrate our diverse backgrounds through a range of cultural activities throughout the year.
Our school values are:
WE LEARN
WE CARE
WE ARE TEAM PLAYERS
Every member of our school community commits to these three values and they are at the centre of school culture.
We also focus on QUALITY TEACHING AND LEARNING and POSITIVE CULTURE FOR LEARNING.
QUALITY TEACHING AND LEARNING
As a school we believe all 'students are OUR students'and that through quality pedagogy, data literacy and implementation of the Australian Curriculum all students are supported on their individual learning journey.
POSITIVE CULTURE FOR LEARNING
Positive culture for learning is the basis on which we are able to support every student in the school. We have a strong focus on social wellbeing for students and staff across the school.
We also have strong links with our parents through regular communication via our Facebook page, regular emails to families and face to face contact. We also have strong links with our neighbouring schools and local agencies which enables us to be very much a part of our local community.
We look forward to welcoming and supporting all children from the Serviceton South State School area.
